Derek Krentz
As a funeral director, I find myself in a very unique position. Meeting with people at what is the saddest and lowest point of their lives can be heart wrenching, but also enormously rewarding. Helping families through the difficulty of losing a loved one is much more than a job to me. This is my community and many of these people, friends. My main goal is to provide comfort to those who need it.
I handle details for services and care for the deceased as well as organize and obtain authorizations for burial, cremation or donation. My door is never closed to people who need to talk or just cry. I am here to help shoulder the burden for grieving families.
This community has blessed me with many friends and it is my honor to care for them at their final time of need.

Domonique Krentz
My focus at the funeral home is to take care of all the technicalities and paperwork so my families won't have to. Besides completing and filing certificates and permits, I strive to write accurate and original obituaries, create memorial folders as unique as the person they honor, and be a calming, positive presence at funeral and memorial services.
I love to involve family members in designing custom memorial folders and videos, and creating services that are one-of-a-kind.

Keren Dierickx
Though I help with services and office work, as well as meet with families for funeral arrangements, my main responsibility at Gardner Funeral Home is accommodating those people who wish to pre-arrange their funerals. I often meet with people in their own homes when they can't come to me.
Rudy Dierickx
Officially, I am retired. However, I like to keep myself busy and it helps Derek, Domonique and Keren if I'm around to do the little things, such as run errands and make repairs to our facility. I am also the chief operator of our own crematory, which we have on site.
My career in funeral service has been very rewarding and my wife, Keren, and I are happy to be passing the tradition of family funeral care on to our children.

Chloe
My name is Chloe and I'm the newest addition to the family. You are welcome to cuddle me during arrangements or just give me a quick pat when you arrive.

Nena
Hi! I'm Nena. There's nothing I like better than to greet you when you walk in our door. I never jump up and only kiss you if you invite me to do so.
I know when people are sad, and sometimes it helps if I just sit next to them and let them stroke my furry ears.
I have many friends whom I met through funerals but who still stop by just to say hello and give me a pat.
